How do I use this thing?

Have a favorite beer? Want to see if the bar you’re going to tonight carries it? Just type the name of the bar you’re headed to and click ‘search’. Type the beer in the ‘beers’ search box and click search to list all bars that serve your beer of choice. Wanna drink your favorite beer while you’re watching your favorite team play? No problem, just search for your favorite team in the ‘team’ search box and check out the results.

Ok, that’s nice, but just how many beers and bars does this site know about?

A lot…check it out by clicking on the ‘beers’ and ‘bars’ link on the front page. But hey, if you’ve come across a beer or bar we don’t know about, let us know!

Can you tell me what bars are in my neighborhood?

Sure can! Just tell us where you’re located first, by clicking the blue word ‘Bars’ link on the main page. Then, click on the area you’re interested in to bring up a list and map of all bars within that neighborhood. This is especially useful for all you bar crawlers out there.

So I've noticed there's a few drinks that aren't beer on this site. What gives?

Good eye. True, we do have a few drinks that are 'close enough' to beer that, honestly, are just too darn good to be ignored. Crispin Cider is one of those. Coffee is another, but not quite similar enough. However, if you're also as much of a coffee lover as we are, check out:

This site is really cool, can I use it on my iPhone?

I'ts being worked on right now, and it's going to be great. With the iPhone version of BeerBin.com, you will be able to locate your exact position and find out what bars and beers are in your proximity. In addition, you’ll experience the same features currently found on the web site…how cool is is that?
